Oral Presentation 

Presentation time

To ensure the program runs to time, we ask that you please keep your presentation to no more than 15 minutes (12 min presentation + 3 min Q&A).

Speakers’ Preparation Desk

Please bring your presentation on a USB stick with you. All speakers are requested to upload their presentation and check their audio-visual presentations with the technician at the Speakers’ Preparation Desk in the John Clancy Foyer, next to the registration desk at least 4 hours before their presentation starts.

Alternatively, you may upload your oral or lightning presentation online via Dropbox. This option is recommended for anyone presenting on Monday morning.

Instructions:

  1. Save your PowerPoint presentation with the following filename convention:  [last name]_[ first name]_[ session number].ppt. For example, Taylor_Elizabeth_Session_4.2.ppt
  2. Access the following dropbox link
  3. Select ‘Choose from computer’, locate the saved file on your computer and press ‘choose’, to complete the upload process 
  4. After you upload your presentation you will receive a confirmation email. You will not be able to obtain further access to edit or remove your presentation 

The Speakers’ Preparation Desk will be open from Tuesday 11 February from 8:00am until 4:00pm. We strongly advise to upload your presentation as soon as possible to avoid technical difficulties.  16:10 ratio.

Guidelines for Lightning Lectures (incls Poster)

Presentation time

To ensure the program runs to time, we ask that you please keep your presentation to no more than 2 minutes. It should consist of 2 Powerpoint slides. No more than 2 slides will be accepted and we require Powerpoint format so that all LL slides of the session can be merged.

Speakers’ Preparation Desk

The Speakers’ Preparation Desk will be open from Tuesday 11 February from 8:00am until 4:00pm. We strongly advise to upload your presentation as soon as possible to avoid technical difficulties.  16:10 ratio.

Posters

Poster boards

Posters can be affixed to the poster boards with velcro. If necessary, velcro can be obtained from the AAMOS-ICTMO 2019 Conference registration desk, in the Darwin Convention Centre Foyer.

Each poster has been allocated a unique identification number to indicate where it should be hung in the display area — please note, you are required to hang your poster in the allocated position. As you prepare your poster, please follow the attached guidelines for creating a poster.

Format

Poster format should no larger than portrait A0 size (841mm x 1189mm). Clear here for further guidelines on poster presentations.

Presentation details poster session 1

Session 1 posters must be displayed from 10:00am Tuesday 11th June until Wednesday 12th June 5:00pm in the designated area on the ground floor of the Darwin Convention Centre.

Session 1 presenters are asked to stand by their posters on Tuesday from 11:00am until 11:30am and Wednesday from 3:00pm until 4:00pm.

All posters must be removed from display after poster session 1 on Wednesday 12th February by 5:00pm. The AMOS-ICTMO 2019 Conference Organising Committee takes no responsibility for posters that are not collected by this time. 

Presentation details poster session 2

Session 2 posters must be displayed from Thursday 13th June 9:00am until Friday 14th June 5:00pm  in the designated area on the ground floor of the Darwin Convention Centre.

Session 2 presenters are asked to stand by their posters on Thursday from 11:00am until 11:30am and on Friday from 3:00pm until 4:00pm.

All posters must be removed from display after poster session 2 on Friday 14th June at 5:00pm. The AMOS-ICTMO 2019 Conference Organising Committee takes no responsibility for posters that are not collected by this time.
